(Fig. 120)
Diagnosis.--Key characters: Ommatidial size coarse (Fig. 39b); prosternal process not planar, apex expanded (Fig. 18); mesal antennal spines present (Figs. 8b, 9b); pronotal impunctate regions present; pronotum without longitudinal rugosities or large, uniformly-sized punctures; tibial carinae present (Fig. 22); femoral carinae present (Fig. 23); dense patterns of silver and gold pubescence; femora without spines (metafemora dentiform in some specimens); pro- and mesofemora gradually enlarged (Fig. 37c); metafemora very long and linear (Fig. 37d); elytral apices rounded and without spines. Length: 9-11 mm
Distribution and Diversity.--Brazil. Monotypic.
Discussion.--Pseudomallocera has the dense silver and golden pubescence characteristic of the Mallocera and allies clade (Fig. 59). The presence of femoral carinae, rounded elytral apices, and unspined or dentiform femoral apices distinguish Pseudomallocera from the other genera within that clade.
