Distribution: Southern Japan, China.

Statistics: 2 species worldwide.

Host Plants: Rhus javanica (Takizawa 1994).

Diagnosis: Body small to medium sized, oval, more or less convex from lateral view. Color yellow to dark brown or black, sometimes with dark spots on elytron. Body covered with long semierect hairs.
Head pro-hypognathous, ovoid, convex from lateral view. Facial part long. Frontal ridge narrow between antennal calli, Y-shaped, broadened apically, not forming elevated ridge with anterior margin of head capsule. Antennal calli small, raised, subquadrate, broadly connected, delineated from vertex by deep transverse punctures. Vertex short. Interantennal space narrower than diameter of antennal socket. Clypeus long, with several long setae on basal margin. Eye large. Antenna 11-segmented, filiform.
Pronotum trapezoidal, much narrower basally than elytra, with broad antebasal transverse impression. Procoxal cavity closed behind, procoxa almost circular. Intercoxal prosternal process wide, canaliculate.
Elytra oval, with well developed humeral callus. Elytral punctures arranged in striae, interspaces very narrow and convex. Epipleuron wide, almost reaching elytral apex.
Metatibia narrow, cylindrical, expanded apically; apex flat. First metatarsal segment inserted apically, almost as long as following three segments combined. Apical spine long, inserted medially.
