Eusiphona consists of 4 described species and belongs into the subfamily Milichiinae. The genus occurs in the Nearctic, Neotropical, and Australasian Region. Eusiphona cooperi and E. vittata have been reared from the nests of Megachile bees.
The genus is characterized by eight to ten pairs of uniformly arranged frontal and orbital setae, all erect and reclinate, in both sexes.
