procurvata: Holotype - Female (IPV), Argentina: Misiones: Zaiman, Estacion Experimental de INTA.

Distribution
Anastrepha montei is known from Mexico (Tamaulipas & Guerrero) south to Venezuela, Ecuador, Paraguay, Brazil (Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte, Bahia, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Santa Catarina), and Argentina.
