Meet Dug Miller
Dug is a Research Entomologist in the Systematic Entomology Laboratory, Agricultural Research Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Beltsville, Maryland, USA. His duties include systematic research on the scale insects, curation of the Natural History Museum's collections of Coccoidea and Psylloidea, and identification services in the scales and psyllids. His main interests are in the mealybugs and eriococcids of the New World and the phylogeny of the Coccoidea. During his 27 year career as a coccidologist he has published more that 85 scientific journal articles and book chapters.
