The Whitefly Web Page and its associated database are the results of a collaborative effort of several individuals. The Aleyrodidae collection database was compiled by Andrew Jensen while he was a postdoctoral employee with the Systematic Entomology Laboratory. Without the countless hours of examining specimens and data entery, this web page would not exist. Steve Nakahara (SEL) provided much of the introductory information presented at the beginning of this site. The web page was designed by Gary Miller (SEL) who also revised portions of the original data base query system for capturing data from the Aleyrodidae Collection Database. Bob Carlson, SEL Web Master, has been instrumental in solving many of the problems confronted early development of the web page. Douglass Miller (SEL) and Manya Stoetzel (SEL), both served in administrative capacities, providing advice on procedures to be followed in developing the collection, whitefly database, and Whitefly Web Page.
