For many years, scale-insect workers have produced photographic images of various specimens collected in the field or brought to the laboratory.  Through the help of modern technology, these images are now available to be searched and viewed by people from all over the world.  This library of scale insect photographs represents over 1,400 images taken in the last 40 years. The web page is a work-in-progress. There may be some nomenclatural errors, so, one should visit ScaleNet for full species details.
